e.l.f. – Unboxing My Very First Order

e-l-f

I’ve known for a while that e.l.f is a very popular low cost makeup brand in the US but I just recently found out that they have a Dutch online store as well.
I just got paid so I thought why not splurge a little (well…A LOT) on some new makeup.

The Website

First of all I have to say that their website is very user-friendly. It is very well-arranged and you don’t have to search too long for a product.
The website offers lots of products from eye shadow to makeup remover cloths.
I DID think they didn’t have much choice when it comes to liquid foundations.

The Packaging
My order came in a cardboard box with pretty pink paper in it.
Each item was also packed in boxes or (like the pencils and such) other plastic packaging material.

The Products
There are sooooo many different products in there store that I had a hard time making a final selection. 🙂
There’s a wide arrangement of eye-, lip-, face-, and nail products as well as a good collection of all kinds of brushes. But most importantly: ★☆ E.L.F. DOES NOT TEST THEIR COSMETICS ON ANIMALS ☆★

I decided to buy a few things of (almost) every category:

Ooooh, you’ve definitely done a MAJOR haul there!! I’ve been looking for loads of E.L.F. reviews and I can’t wait to hear how your products are =D I just placed my first order a couple days back because they did this amazing UK + EU wide online discount and they now have another 50% off everything sale with a code, I’m sorely tempted to place yet another order, LOL.

You should check out the code!!! (http://parsimoniouspenny.wordpress.com/2013/08/04/deal-update-e-l-f-sale-extended/)

Thank you for your comment Parsimoniouspenny,

Yes I went a liiiittle bit overboard…LoL but if I’m not going to treat myself with a nice makeupmcollection, then who will?!
I checked out your E.L.F. blog posts (and subscribed too btw! I love your blog!!!) but unfortunately http://www.eyeslipsface.co.uk does not ship to The Netherlands which means I cannot use the discount code
I hope their Dutch sister will see the light soon and start giving out codes too.
Nevertheless it WILL NOT stop me from ordering again soon!

Thank you for taking the time out your day to read my post and comment on it!
And hopefully you’ll hang around so you can read the reviews on all the products!!

      xoxo
